Toy safety
Every toy we sell must meet UK toy safety law. Here is what that means, and what to do if you have a concern.

Safety standards
Toys sold in Great Britain must comply with the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011 and carry the UKCA or CE mark. We only sell toys that carry the required marking.
Age guidance and warnings
- Follow the age guidance on each product. Toys marked as unsuitable for children under 36 months contain small parts and are a choking hazard for young children.
- Read and keep the packaging and instructions, which include warnings and care information.
- Supervise young children while they play, and check toys regularly for wear or damage.
- If a toy uses button or coin batteries, make sure the battery compartment is secure and keep spare batteries out of reach. If you think a child has swallowed a battery, go to A&E immediately.
